Take on the role of Rick, a masked vigilante who needs to explore the decaying futuristic Neon City in search of items, abilities and companions to defeat the four super-powered gang bosses and free all its turfs from their claws.
Neon City Riders is an action-adventure game created by Mecha Studios and inspired in 80's sci-fi scene. Each turf is composed by different aesthetics, enemies, mechanics, puzzles and side-quests; giving Neon City Riders a multi-ending solid length experience.
Even when the cyberpunk generally is known to have a noir and dark nature, NCR have a very serious plot that lays on a colorful, cartoonish, chibi aesthetics; a catchy and jolly 16-bit based soundtrack; and a light-hearted narrative tone.
This project was successfully funded through Kickstarter in June 2017, and is now available on all platforms.
The Neon District is the central part of the city and remains as a sanctuary, where all the gangs can get their supplies from the Neon City Market, and fighting is strictly prohibited.
The north side of the city is composed mainly by an anarchic inferno called The Burning Projects, where some old warehouses are used as hideouts and are interconnected by the streets and the subway system.
It is said that the Mori Forest and its chapels hide in their depths a secret energy source on which the ULR's underground lab was built.
The southern island of the district was once an important power plant that supplied the entire city. Now a polluted sewer system known as the Emerald Archipelago is all that remains.
It was easy for human society to get rid of their garbage by throwing it into the eastern part of the city, now known as the Genesis Junkyard, home of the abandoned android factory and only path to reach the Snowy Ridge.

In this story, you'll take the role of Evergray, an old-man fed up with the violence and injustices of Neon City with the mission of finding someone strong enough to help him defeat the super-powered gangs.
